Olivier No毛l promoted at Northern Trust

Northern Trust has appointed Olivier No毛l as country head of Luxembourg. Subject to regulatory approval, he will also become CEO and a board member of the firm鈥檚 EU bank, Northern Trust Global Services SE (NTGS SE).
He reports to Clive Bellows, head of EMEA global fund services and soon-to-be president of Northern Trust鈥檚 EMEA business.
No毛l has more than 20 years of industry experience, the majority of which has been spent with Northern Trust. Most recently he served as chief operating officer at NTGS SE, before which he was chief operating officer for the global fund services business.
He joined the firm as head of transfer agency in 2005, before which he was an assistant manager for transfer agency at BNP Paribas Securities Services Luxembourg.
Bellows says: 鈥淣orthern Trust first established a Luxembourg presence in 2004 to help clients take advantage of European fund opportunities. Today it is home to our EU bank and continues to be central to our Continental European strategy for growth and helping clients manage the increasing complexity of investing and doing business.
